People + Music

Humans, with the hope in our eyes, our smiles, our movements, our fears, our joys; imperfect but creative, always thinking about our past and future, but trapped in the present... Humans with our music nourishing us, vector communication and peace between cultures and civilizations across the world.

Live concerts

It starts here with a collection of drawings made during live concerts. These moments are always generating a fascinating connection between the sound and the hand, until the paper... It’s about vibrations, flow of thoughts, rythm...

In a face, we can read the hopes, joys, pain and empathy of other beings.  The attitude, the movement, the eyes, everything is communication. Language is only a small part of this communication, and words are sometimes not necessary. In the world of the 21st century, some say that humans tend to disconnect from each other. This observation and feeling is legitimate, as we communicate more and more through social networks. Despite the revolutionary possibilities that these tools are providung us,  it seems that these means of communication take away a large part of our ability to express nuances, with the risk that this generally makes us less empathetic, even more radical. This surplus of virtual communication makes us forget the essence of our human communication.
In reaction, but without going backwards, this is a plea for a change of attitude. Let's look at each other, with or without a mask. Let's look into each other's eyes, let's be curious about each other, curious about each other’s bodies, and curious about what our look provokes in each other, no matter our origin, our physical appearance, our gender, our differences. Let's learn to know each other, and let's not lock ourselves in the fear of the other.
Drawing can be used to link and bind very different people and cultures,  and has already been, on many occasions, the impetus and starting point for long term friendships and relations. It has the potential to initiate discussions, has a power of social bonding, and is a great vehicle for peace maintenance.
